Popular Nigerian record artist, Ice Prince has been arrested by the Lagos State police command for abducting and threatening the life of a police officer.
The ‘Oleku’ singer appeared to have been arrested for driving at 3a.m without licensed plate on his car.
According to the Superindentent of police, Benjamin Hundeyin, Ice Prince fled the scene with a police officer after his agreement to be taken into custody.
The act of assaulting a police officer in uniform, having said that, is stated to be prohibited and punishable by law.
